LGBTQ Affirming Care

As a person in the LGBTQ community, you may struggle with your self-worth. You might also suffer from anxiety symptoms or depression symptoms. You may have trouble sleeping, feel isolated socially, or exhausted from self-criticism. This can be tiring and leave little energy to achieve your goals. I can help you learn skills to overcome these feelings and achieve your full potential.

I have dedicated my career to supporting queer folx, such as through my work at Fenway Health, which you can read more about in my about me section.

Teletherapy

Therapy is intended to be a space to relieve stress, so when life gets in the way of your appointment, it can cause more stress by not having your session on top of paying a missed session fee. Teletherapy allows you to connect from anywhere and avoid challenges that life may throw at you. From the weather, to being caught up at work or school to dealing with family members or other unforeseen circumstances, teletherapy allows us to connect without concern of arriving at the office in time for the session.

All of my sessions are online therapy via a HIPPA compliant teletherapy platform called "Doxy". This is true even outside of the COVID-19 pandemic. If you have any questions or are interested in discussing teletherapy further, please do not hesitate to contact me via the form below.

A Bit About Therapy

I believe that psychotherapy can be a helpful tool to teach us skills to address the struggles of our daily lives. We may find that these have been caused by past challenges and experiences. By talking about your life in a supportive confidential manner, it can open up greater insight about the patterns and beliefs we may have internalized about ourselves and the world. Developing this insight increases ones awareness, which can lead to thoughtful, helpful choices and improve our quality of life to put us on the path to get what we most desire out of life.
